This Privacy Policy explains how Spottr ("Spottr," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash, profile details you provide.
• Fitness data: workouts, exercise logs, sets/reps/weight, PRs, goals, streaks, and related activity.
• Social data: friends, feed posts, comments, reactions, squads, messages, and notifications.
• Optional data: profile photos, progress photos, weight logs, support requests, push settings, and contact-match inputs when used.
• Device/usage data: basic technical and interaction events needed for reliability, security, and core app function.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core app features and sync your account.
• Power social/community features and notifications.
• Support subscriptions, purchases, and account access control.
• Improve app performance, security, and abuse prevention.
• Respond to support and account requests.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only as needed to operate the service (for example, hosting, payments, and notifications) and when required by law.

4. Your Controls

• Profile and sharing settings can be managed in-app.
• You can request password reset using the app flow.
• You can delete your account in-app from Settings. Account deletion is permanent.

5. Data Retention

We keep data while your account is active or as needed for legitimate operational, legal, and security purposes. If you delete your account, we remove account-linked personal data according to system and legal constraints.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Children

Spottr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. International / Regional Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. Contact us to request help.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.

HealthKit Data

Spottr integrates with Apple HealthKit to help users track and manage their fitness activity.

With your permission, Spottr may read and/or write workout and fitness data to the Apple Health app. This allows your workout information to stay up to date and available across your health and fitness apps.

HealthKit data is used only to provide fitness tracking and related features within Spottr.

We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes.

We do not sell HealthKit data to third parties.

HealthKit data is not used for data mining, profiling, or analytics unrelated to providing the core functionality of the app.

Your HealthKit data is only accessed with your explicit permission, and you can manage or revoke this access at any time through the Apple Health app.
